WAYS TO MAKE YOUR PARTNER A PRIORITY


  1. Keep in touch (phone, text)

  2. Communicate instead of just reacting.  Explain your feelings.

  3. Compromise on when and how often you have sex.

  4. Show your partner appreciation

  5. Increase physical touch

  6. Share a hobby or try something new together

  7. Google “Questions to Ask My Partner” and learn something new about them.

  8. Do something unexpected for them.

  9. Learn what their Love Language is and make sure you meet it daily.

  10. Avoid being defensive when your partner talks about a problem and listen instead.

  11. ‘Focus on the solution instead of the problem

  12. Schedule Couple’s Time

  13. Avoid “but”s  

  14. Create a daily ritual.  Try having coffee together

  15. Step outside your comfort zone for your partner

  16. Give them your undivided attention when they are speaking to you

  17.  Have a weekly Check In meeting

  18. Avoid getting defensive or making a counter-attack

  19. Show them courtesy and respect

  20. Put your partner first
